ASMS 2025 Inter-Lab Comparison of MAM Data Using Byosphere®

Analyzing CQAs in NISTmAb across labs using MS1/MSMS data and centralized dashboards

About this Poster

This poster presents results from a Japanese round-robin study comparing Multi-Attribute Method (MAM) data across laboratories analyzing NISTmAb samples. Each lab used its own LC-MS system to assess predefined CQAs, including deamidation, oxidation, and terminal modifications. The study used Byosphere® to centralize results from MS1 and MS/MS modes, offering peptide-level insights, mass accuracy, and retention time trends. Byosphere's dashboard features helped identify outliers, assess system suitability, and improve inter-lab consistency.

Key Learnings:

  • Learn how MS1 and MS/MS data from multiple labs were harmonized for peptide-level CQA comparison.
  • See how Byosphere® visual dashboards revealed outliers in oxidation and retention time variability.
  • Understand how this approach supports better reproducibility, system tuning, and MAM method refinement across labs.
