Comprehensive isoform annotation and quantitation in DIA data
Achieving Superior Sensitivity and Precision in DIA Protein Quantification
Comprehensive DIA Isoform Analysis: Next-Generation Accuracy and Scale
This scalable search engine prototype significantly advances the capabilities of the Byos® platform for Data Independent Acquisition (DIA) analysis, overcoming traditional challenges like coeluting fragments and computational complexity.
- Maximum Discrimination and Recovery:The new engine demonstrates enhanced discrimination of true positive matches compared to the traditional Byonic™ engine. It successfully recovers additional high-confidence identifications in challenging cases involving complex isotope interference.
- Superior Quantitation Precision:Customers benefit from improved quantification precision, reflected in lower Coefficient of Variation (CV) values during DIA analysis. This also reduces the incidence of sporadic isoform reporting, ensuring greater reliability.
- Robust Signal Processing:The approach increases sensitivity by leveraging multiple isotopes while maintaining robustness against interference. It uniquely allows for direct matching of raw profile points and supports all isotopic peaks (centroided or profile-mode data) for enhanced true signal discrimination.
- Refined Structural Fidelity:The software improves match discrimination and boundary precision by aggregating signals from multiple adjacent MS2 scans around the precursor apex. This results in improved fidelity of modification site localization compared to older methods.
- Seamless Workflow Integration:This prototype extends existing Byos® capabilities, integrating directly into crucial Host Cell Proteome (HCP) and Multi Protein Quant (MPQ) workflows, utilizing DIA-centric processing parameters.
